What's in the pack

⚠️

1. Dish allergen check

Tick each of the 14 allergens for every dish on your menu cycle, using your recipes and the labels on the products you actually buy. Includes a key to what each allergen covers.

🥄

2. Resident dietary needs

One list of every resident's allergies, IDDSI food and drink levels, diet, likes and dislikes. Keep one copy in the kitchen and one with the care team.

✅

3. Plate check before service

One sheet per meal: tick texture, allergens and diet for each resident's plate, then initial it before it leaves the kitchen.

📋

IDDSI key included

Food levels 3 to 7 and drink levels 0 to 4 are printed on the sheet, so staff don't need to look them up.

A record-keeping aid only. Follow your own food safety management system and the Food Standards Agency's allergen guidance. Texture levels must come from each resident's speech and language therapy (SLT) or clinical assessment.

Tired of filling these in by hand?

Platewell keeps every resident's allergies, textures and diets, greys out the dishes they can't have on the menu sheet, and prints a kitchen sheet and a labelled plate for every resident. Try a demo care home without signing up.
